|Meeting with a guide at the hotel, departure to Peterhof
|Inside visit to Chesma Church. The red and white striped church commemorates the victory of the Russian fleet over the Turks at Chesma in the Aegean sea in 1770. The building is pseudo-Gothic in style and looks like a four-leafed flower, each of the petals a semi-circle crowned with a cupola.
|Drive to the Coastal Monastery of St. Sergius
Inside visit of the St. Serguis Cathedral .
It used to be one of the richest monasteries of the Russian Empire. (Strict dress code - women - skirts and headscarfs. You can borrow skirts in the monastery)
|Drive to Peterhof Peter-and - Paul's Cathedral
|Inside visit of the Peter and Paul's Cathedral in Pseudo-Russian style (near Peterhof Park)
|Visit of the Imperial Palace Chapel at Peterhof ( next to the Grand Palace). ( All days except Mondays)
The Palace Church at Peterhof is once again open to the public after an extensive restoration that lasted more than a decade .The newly reconstructed interiors of the church are highlighted by a magnificent carved gilded iconostasis, stucco decorations and paintings, icons of the 18th and 19th centuries, as well as unique pieces of church plate and vestments.
