On this tour you will experience the Swedish capital from different angles. Built on 14 islands it is not surprising that water has been dominating life in Stockholm for centuries. On the central island “Stadsholmen” you will find the old city center (Gamla Stan), which is, with its narrow cobbled alleys and old houses, one of the best preserved medieval cities of Northern Europe.

|Meeting the guide at the exit gate on the harbor. If the port is the closest to Stockholm center, excursion starts right since meeting a guide. If the port is different, that takes 15 minutes to the center.
|Walking tour of the city center of Stockholm. Guide will take you around the Old Town(Gamla Stan), you will see St. Nicolas Cathedral, King’s palace and the guards of the palace. You will see Old and New Parliament buildings, Noble committee, Knight’s island (Riddarholmen) and the Cathedral – burial place of most noble families and Kings of Sweden.
|Guide will explain you how return back to the port, options for lunch and shopping will be recommended.
The representatives of our company will be waiting for you at the port near the ship - you will easily recognize them as they will be holding DenRus sign.
Free time and return back to the ship on your own (port is 15 minutes from the city center).

NOTE: All Stockholm tours for cruise passengers are valid when the ship is docked in Stockholm. When the ship is docked in Nynäshamn (45 minutes drive from the city), itinerary and the rates will be recalculated.
This tour is not suitable for "slow walkers" or mobility restricted persons. There is unfortunately no place to load walker devices or wheelchairs in the vehicles.
