"Molli Steam Train"

Major sites and inside admissions included:  Town of Bad Doberan, the old Minster Convent, ride on the narrow gauge Molli Train, refreshments at the Kuehlungsborn restaurant.
After departing from our port, the first part of our tour, through the countryside of Mecklenburg Western Pomerania, has always been highly enjoyed and admired by our guests. We shall cross endless yellow flowering fields on our way to the Monastery town of Bad Doberan.
Upon arrival in Bad Doberan the first highlight will be the red brick 700-years-old Minster. Once an old Cistercian convent church, and the centre of Christianity in this region, we’ll now have a unique opportunity to explore and discover the ancient secret and closed convent and its surroundings, today open for public.  
Near the abbey we will find the Molli train station, where we shall board one of the cars of this nostalgic train, pulled by an old steam engine, for a 25-minute atmospheric ride on the historic narrow-gauge railway. After the ride refreshments shall be served at Kuehlungsborn. This seaside restaurant welcomes you with homemade German cake and a cup of coffee that you can savor along with a view on the central beach promenade. After the coffee break time has been allocated for a brief free time on your own and for shopping.
On our return trip to Rostock we’ll pass by the newly restored seaside resort Heiligendamm, also called as “The White Town”. This is historically the oldest seaside resort in the entire Germany
